Softball Ontario
Softball Ontario is the recognized provincial sport governing body for softball in Ontario. Softball Ontario’s role is to promote and develop the sport of Softball.In 1971, Softball Ontario was created, bringing together the three charter member associations (Ontario Amateur Softball Association, Provincial Women’s Softball Association, Ontario Rural Softball Association) to form one provincial body to work for the betterment of softball in Ontario.
Ontario Rural Softball Association (ORSA)
The ORSA is responsible for male and female fast pitch in small town, rural communities in Ontario. The association provides competition opportunities including two out of 3 Provincial Competitions, sanctions tournaments, and registers and communicates with rural and small town fast pitch teams.

Ontario Amateur Softball Association (OASA)
The OASA is responsible for male fast pitch in Ontario. The association provides competition opportunities including regional or zone and Provincial Competitions and sanctions tournaments. Talent identification on male fast pitch players is used for awarding outstanding talent and recognizing potential National Team and Canada Games players.

Slo-Pitch Ontario Association (SPOA)
SPO is responsible for male and female slo-pitch in Ontario. The association provides competition opportunities including regional or zone and Provincial Competitions and sanctions tournaments.

Provincial Women’s Softball Association (PWSA)
The PWSA is responsible for female fast pitch in Ontario. The association provides competition opportunities including regional or zone and Provincial Competitions and sanctions tournaments. The PWSA registers and communicates to female fast pitch teams and provides female only skill development opportunities (skills camp). Talent identification on female fast pitch players is used for awarding outstanding talent and recognizing potential National Team and Canada Games players.

The Canadian Amateur Softball Association, commonly known as Softball Canada, is a not-for-profit National Sport Organization (NSO) based in Ottawa, Ontario founded in 1965. It is recognized and financially supported by the Government of Canada as the National Governing Body for the sport of softball.
